#IYouWePeacePledge campaign launched to combat violence during the Pakistan General Elections

The #IYouWePeacePledge campaign is an effort to unify the country around a commitment to peace and inclusion during the elections and after.  In order for Pakistan to flourish as a democratic state,  the voices of all sectors of society must be respected.  Election monitors are on the ground across the country to ensure that this happens and that any violence or hate speech is documented.

Already attacks on rallies ahead of the July 25th elections in Pakistan have claimed the lives of dozens of people.  According to PakVotes, 7 attacks have claimed 181 lives between the 10th and 22th of July alone.
